Dr. Joshua R. Hall – Editor-in-chief

I’m a Salem, Oregon based educator, scholar, and writer. Though broadly trained as a historian, I am a specialist in the ancient Mediterranean world, especially of early Italy, Sicily, and North Africa. But, I have a diverse background, working (briefly) in Oregon politics, as an editor, and in the classroom as a college and university instructor. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading Oregon Perspective and that you’ll be a regular visitor!
